Types of Glyphs
Phonogram (Ph) : is a glyph that represents one or more sounds, for example uniliterals.
ex. 𓅓 /m/ em, biliterals ex. 𓉼 /aA/ā'ah, triliterals ex. 𓋹 /anx/ānkh. A list with all glyphs here
Determinative (D) : is a glyph that has no phonetic properties it simply stands for something that helps you determine the word's meaning. This is very important as many words in medu netjer will have the same letter value but mean many different things and it is up to the Determinative to help us distinguish the difference when reading glyphs. ex. 𓋹𓈖𓐍𓏜 /anx/ 'life' ; 𓋹𓈖𓐍𓀀 /anx/ 'person, citizen, living one' ; 𓋹𓀁 /anx/ 'swear, oath'; 𓋹 /anx/ 'sandal strap' ; 𓋹𓏺𓈔 /anx/ 'mirrir'

𓋹 the ankh glyph itself is representative of a sandal strap or a mirror.
𓋹𓈖𓐍 these glyphs stand for the pronunciation /anx/, 𓋹 /anx/, 𓈖 /n/, 𓐍 /x/, the /n/ and /x/ just stand to reinforce the word
