Often represented as either some sort of feline, serval, cheetah, panthor or cat, or ichneumon (African mongoose) with a body of a women. Also apears as a panther. In Abydos she was a divine panther holding a was scepter in her right paw. Greco-Roman she would appear as a lion-headed serpent

Goddess who protected against snakes, scorpions various venomous animals who stood in transgression of Ma'at. Protector of Rā. She was involved with justice or capital punishment and the protection of the King's chambers and sacred places. Seen as the goddess of execution, her symbol is a feline running up the side of a pole with a knife attached to the end. Known for her powerful claws. Early Period she was a goddess of the Duat , in which she is active as a sky panther. She also functioned as an execution, where she eats the heads of executed criminals. She would wear a panther skin and help Anpu/Anubis with embalming Osiris. In the New Kingdom she is the one who rips out the heart of Apep/Apophis.
