Alive during the 3rd Dynasty under king Djoser as chancellor and high priest of Rā at Heliopolis. Designed of the Step Pyramid of Djoser and invented a few building styles. Accredited to be the first architect engineer and physician even though others have been found. He was a Chief Carpenter and Chief Sculptor as well. He was the patron spirit of scribes in the New Kingdom, to whom they regularly poured out a libation from the water-jug of their writing outfit before beginning their work. He was the founder of Egyptian studies of astronomy as well as a scribe.
