House of the Gods
The netjeru ḥenā netjerut/gods and goddesses plaid a huge role in Egyptian culture. Unfortunately the Egyptian language was lost for thousands of years, at least the Egyptian language in it's original form, so the true pronunciations have been lost, although this is debatable. With the rediscovered Rosetta stone in in 1799 and many scholars and linguists studding and breaking down and finally cracking the language we can however make educated guesses on how things were pronounced. The consonants for the most part have been reconstructed the argument lies more on how the vowels were pronounced. Thankfully other cultures were around at the same time Egypt was and they have used and adopted some of the gods names into their own languages. Greek, Hebrew, Akkadian as well as other cultures spoke of the netjeru kemet/Egyptian gods. If you would like more info on the reconstruction of the Egyptian language please view the the sections under Alphabet, mostly Uniliterals and the section under Etymology. It is important to remember the Egyptian language was not cracked until 1822 by Jean-François Champollion and up until this point we had used the Greek versions of the gods' names. For example the goddess most know as 'Isis' is actually her Greek name. In Egyptian she would have been called Auset or Aset and Late Kingdom Eset and into Coptic Ēse ⲏⲥⲉ. This is where we get Isis from. The Greeks had a habit of adding endings and taking off the Egyptian effeminate /et/ ending for goddess names. Once you recognize this and do a bit more research it is not hard to reconstruct the Gods names. However people still debate to this day. I have given many examples of the gods names on their given pages and where they came from and how they evolved over time from culture to culture. I urge you to make up your own mind on how to say their names from the given examples. You can also see what I call them on their given pages.
Keep in mind there are many creation myths for the Egyptian with multiple creator gods. There is one main creator god Atum. The power of Atum is called netjer(y) which means divine. This is why the Egyptians often referred to netjer and not netjeru. Netjeru is specifically referring the multiple gods. There is many manifestations of the main god as well as other gods sometimes manifest as a different god. However it is just an aspect of the same god going by a different name.
