Forgive me if I don't get back to you right away. I am very busy and do have a life outside the internet and scholarly studies. I will try to get back to you eventually.
A little about me, I am an Independent scholar and translator with over 10 years worth of researching, and academically studying medu netjer (the Language of Ancient Egypt) [Hieroglyphics not Demotic or Hieratic], Coptic and its etymology. I also have read many texts in their original language for research. It was a life goal of mine to learn the language of Ancient Egypt and I set out to learn it back in the 90's, but life got busy, and with schooling and work I was never able to dedicate the amount of time that was required in learning the language. About 15 years ago now, I started to seriously study the language again and I have been studying it heavily ever since. When I first started out there wasn't a whole lot of information available online or even in bookstores. So I started compiling all the information I had and then some, as well as gathering websites to help others learn. I tenaciously studded MDC, IPA, Gardiner Code, Middle Kingdom and Late Kingdom Medu Netjer, it's Etymology, with emphasis on Sahidic Coptic/Upper Egypt (S) Bohairic Coptic/Lower Egypt (B). I was compelled to share my knowledge with others along my journey and that was the reason for this site. As I learn so shall this site grow and believe me you never stop learning especially with this language. As archaeologist find more information, Egyptologists and linguists can learn more about the language and how it functioned historically. I know much, but I am still learning. No scribe ever stops learning don't get discouraged. Keep that in mind on your journey.
