The Djed pillar was originally associated with Soker/Seker at Memphite Necropolis, later Ptah (Memphite patron god of craftsmen "the noble djed"), who carried a scepter that was a combination of the djed pillar "stability", the ankh "life" and the was-sceptre "dominion & strength". Later it became associated and Wesir/Osiris. It represent Wesir/Osiris spine. Sometimes it represented Wesir/Osiris himself.
